Livestock production is constrained not only by technical factors, feed supply, animal health, management and genetic make-up but also by environmental and socio-economic factors. In the case of poorest region of Central part of Vietnam, the impacts emission of nutrients from animal manure on environmental pollution especially emissions of ammonia into atmosphere as an ammonia form and surface water as a nitrogen and ground water as a nitrate form and soil as a phosphorus one is still missing data base. On the other hand, increasing public awareness of the environment issues related to the risk associated pathogens in animal manure especially common diseases between animal and human is a vital need in society especially the rural area of the country. Last, using effectively livestock manure for crop production, nutrient balance and renewable energy issues with more engaging in the way of reducing use of inorganic fertilizers from fossil sources of energy paying the way of better sustainable livestock development in the region is urgently needed for the near future when oil crisis is sharply occurring and climate change.
