MEKARN Workshop 2009: Livestock, Climate Change and the Environment |
“Study on uses microorganism prodution to rapid treatment livestock’s solid waste“ is conducted to produce a microorganism production for rapid treatmnet of livestock’s solid waste with the aim restrict it’s environment poluttion and to makes organic fertilizer supply for cultivation. Species of microorganism as Bacillus, Actinomyces, yeast... are selected from Gen bank – Microbiology Department, Soils and Fertilizers Institute, all of them able to break up organic compounds as cellulose, starch, phosphorus and protein. According to European Comunity, the species used on study are high biosaferty (2 level) and they are permission to apply in common. The result of study on effect of microorganism prodution on treatment animal waste show that the livestock’s solid waste are completely decomposed in 17-21days. The organic matterial after treatment have not got E.coli, salmonella and egg of parasitic worms and uses as organic fertilizer for cultivation.
