Abstract

The surveyed result indicate that: Paper mulberry is allocated in regions including upland and lowland. If Paper mulberry was collected to make feed for animal, its productivity is around 2 cutting times per year. Biomass yield of this at the 1,2,3,4 and 5 years of age in first cutting time are 2.42; 2.41; c.0; 7.0; 15.1 ton/ha and second cutting time are 4.2; 3.3; 5.7; 7.4; 12.3 ton/ha. When Paper mulberry is used as feed for goats in following treatments: PM: Paper mulberry ad libitum; PM- JF: Paper mulberry ad libitum + Jackfruit (1% of LW as DM); PM-RB: Paper mulberry ad libitum + Rice bran (1% of LW as DM); PM-JF-RB: Paper mulberry ad libitum+ Jackfruit (0.5% of LW as DM) + Rice bran (0.5% of LW). This experiment result shows that live weight gain (LWG) of goat is the highest in treatment (PM-JF-RB) as 70 g/head /day.
