This experiment will take in total 16 months: the first part was
carried out from June 2002 to June 2003. The second part,
consisting of digestibility trials will be carried out in
2004.
Paper 5: Effects of scavenging and supplementation of lysine and
methionine on feed intake, production performance and economic
efficiency of improved chickens.
This experiment was planned for 2004, but due to the
outbreak of Avian Influenza will probably be postponed until 2005.

The manuscript was submitted to Field Crops
Research in late 2003.
Paper 4: "Effects of cassava leaf meal on the growth performance of local and exotic ducks and chickens". This experiment (Experiment 4) will be carried out in 2004 in the new location of UTA Cambodia.
Paper 5: "Effect of variety and preservation method of cassava leaves on diet digestibility by local and crossbred pigs " The manuscript was submitted to Animal Feed Science and Technology in early 2004.
